    Superb

Very helpful staff. Free Unlimited Wifi wich is not available in every hostel in Roma... (Be careful about this). Some things that we were not looking for when booking but that were nice: jacuzzi in the room, gym... The hostel was very quiet. I would say its the perfect place to spend some days in roma as a couple... A little tip: close from the hostel there is a little laundry place... The guy will clean, dry, fold and keep your clothes till u come back for only 4 euros! Some nice little restaurants/pizzeria around the hostel too. The location of the hostel is ok: a little bit far from the center but the 105 bus stops just in front of the hostel and will take you to the termini station (center of roma transports) in only 15 minutes... The buses run late.

The only thing is this bus is very crowded on the evening. And the stop could be a little bit hard to find on the first time if you arrive at night.

    Superb

Being a family with older children we really liked the idea of connecting rooms as we did not want two separate rooms. The rooms were very clean with good quality beds and clean bath rooms. The quality and service on whole was excellent. The breakfast bar was more than sufficient with good quality fresh juices. The outdoor sitting area was beautiful.

The surrounding area is just ok. The hotel is not in the city centre so one would need a taxi or a bus to commute. The taxi from the airport cost us14 euros and is about 15 minutes ride. The main bus stop is few minutes walk from the hotel and then it is a15 minutes ride to the centre. The ticket cost 1 euro per person each way. Location wise it may not be an ideal choice but we did not mind as we were there only for one night. There is not much to see in the city apart from the Leaning Tower and Cathedral any way.

Very Clean and big rooms. Friendly staff and nice breakfast.

Location was an issue for sure:(

    Fabulous

The room was very clean and spacious. We loved the jaccuzi.

The hotel is located very near rail road tracks and every ten minutes a train passes and causes noise and a little shaking (we were on the 1st floor). If you have troubles with noise this may be a problem for some. Also the night shift woman at the reception desk (I think her name was Mirta) was very strict and a little rude (bad attitude) which did not fit in with a 4star hotel. Another thing that must be noted is that the streets around the hotel are very dangerous at night. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which takes you to all the attractions you may want to see ( its safe) but if you want to walk it may be a little unsafe after dark.

    Fabulous

Friendly staff - big bed - nice design bedroom - great jacuzzi bath

erratic wireless - no lan cable - surroundings of the hotel a bit depressive

Staff was excellent, spoke very well english, dressed very proper and nice, and were very very helpful and friendly. It was our honeymoon adventure, and the hotel was kind enough to give us a bottle of really nice proseco. On the side of the hotel itself, we found heaven down a wide alley way, at 1 am filled with young hip locals, tons of restaurants and bars to choose from. The food was amazing and well priced. The bus stop was right out of the front of the hotel. Easily accesible.

Location was a bit further than we expected.

    The rate was acceptable

I didn't like the hotel because of it is poor location, specially that I was traveling with family with young chidden.

    Fabulous

The room was fantastic for the price we paid. Had a large bed and also a large sofa area with chairs to relax. The bathroom was wonderful - it had a jacuzzi bath and there were fresh white, fluffy bathrobes and slippers. The staff were extremely helpful. Just a two minute walk away there was a street that at nighttime housed a row of cafes and restaurants with seating outside. Great atmosphere, prices and they were open very late.

The only poor thing about this hotel was the location. Although there is a bus stop just opposite the hotel which takes you to Roma Termini or past the colesseum the tube stop was extremely far away. However, Rome is in the middle of building a Line C, which has a stop very near the hotel, so this will improve the transport links to central Rome.

    Excellent staff

Poor cleasiness of room,no amenities for a 4 star hotel, low personel in front desk

Staff was very helpfull. It was our honeymoon and they left us a chilled bottle of champagne. Lovely modern design. Only downside is that it isn't that close to the city center, but buses 105 and 81 both have stops within a 5 min walk and bus tickets are cheap, so not really too much of an inconvenience.

    Superb

the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and the bathroom had a tub (whirlpool function), very clean, fresh towels every day, the breakfast was excellent: great variety of food and drinks, in the afternoon there were free juices and water in the lobby as well as free newspapers

no metro (subway) stop close by, although the bus stop is right in front of the hotel the waiting times for the buses to arrive were very long sometimes (as there is no definite bus schedule) we waited up to 30-45 min more than once, aside from that there are 3 bus lines stopping in front of the hotel that bring you to the colosseum, one of them takes you further to the piazza navona and eventually to the vatican; there is nothing we didn't like about the hotel itself though

    Superb

Very kind staff speaking sufficient English. The breakfast was all-round and tasty every morning. If you're keen on walking you can easily get to town by feet, although public transportation is also available right outside the hotel. Overall we had a really pleasant stay at Roma Aeterna and can't do anything else than highly recommend it.

The neighborhood is not so elegant, but we walked every morning and night from/to town and didn't feel insecure in anyway, although you have to pass some streets appearing quite "rough".

    Good

It has a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and the Rome bus is very well stocked with bus lines. You can go anywhere in the bus, and for a great price (15€ for a week pass). The hotel as a nice breakfast, with a nice variety, and I specially like the rooms, not to big, but the bathroom are great and the design it top quality.

The reception employees are a little bit anoying.

  • 6.2
    Good

Equipment is new and maintenance is not bad either. You should use the train from the airport because it rises when the taxi fee is used from the airport outside the rampart.

The city will use the bus to go sightseeing excluding the rent-a-car. The 105th always is settled by several, and always always crowded. When the bus reported to the subway comes if PASS is used, it goes to a near subway station even if it is irrelevant to the destination, and it is easier to avoid the 105th.

    Superb

The room was clean and tidy with a very professional outlook, breakfast was great and service was excellent

We booked a queen bed but we got two singles pushed together, everytime my wife and i got close the beds would pull apart, very frustrating and annoying
